Microsoft 365 Suite Outage: MO222965

MOSTLY RESOLVED as at 29/09/2020 10:45

This morning there was a widespread outage across all Microsoft platforms which appears to be getting back to normal now.
Please advise your staff that they may still see glitches as Microsoft complete the rest of their service restoration.
If you wish to follow direct on MSFT’s site then https://status.office365.com/ is your best place.

We expect services to be available though there may also be some performance degradation as traffic is re-routed around problem systems in Microsoft’s Cloud infrastructure.

We can confirm that as of 10:45am this morning we have tested Outlook Emails, Access to https://www.office.com/, Teams, Teams Calling (phones), Outlook Online, SharePoint and OneDrive with satisfactory results.

If you continue to see issues then please restart your computer and retry your systems before creating a support ticket via email to Service Desk or via web form https://solvebusiness.teamwork.com/support/#/tickets/new

Title: Can’t access Microsoft 365 services

User Impact: Users may be unable to access multiple Microsoft 365 services.

More info: Users would be unable to access Outlook.com, Microsoft Teams including Teams Live Events, and Office.com. Additionally, Power Platform and Dynamics365 properties are affected by this incident. Existing customer sessions are not impacted and any user who is logged in to an existing session would be able to continue their sessions.

Current status: We’ve determined that a specific portion of our infrastructure is not processing authentication requests in a timely manner. We’re pursuing mitigation steps for this issue. In parallel, we’re rerouting traffic to alternate systems to provide further relief to the affected users.
