Announcement – FORMS is GDPR Compliant

Sep 11, 2018 Anqi Du, Program Manager at Microsoft, reminds us from her a Microsoft Forms Blog that Microsoft Forms IS GDPR Compliant.

This is great news for all Office365 users and anyone completing a form based on the technology and demonstrates how Microsoft are taking our privacy seriously.

Anqi Du says “Microsoft is committed to helping business customers comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which has been in effect since May 25, 2018. Microsoft Forms, part of the Office 365 Family, is GDPR-compliant. Our goal is to help global business customers manage compliance and avoid risk.

Solve Business Services recommends that all businesses build in security and privacy from the ground up and we remind clients that our Australian Notifiable Data Breach laws will (in our opinion) become stronger over time and that they are likely to approach the levels of compliance seen in GDPR.

Complying with legislation is only part of the picture, the real benefit comes from affording your business and customers data the protection it deserves and being compliant is yet another way to stand out, stand strong and be confident you are doing not only the right thing, you’re also establishing a platform on which to build your success.
