MYOB have announced publicly that they are ending support for their CLASSIC products, this means the AccountRight Classic (v19) suite of products.

In the Real World…

Our real world experience has been that the process goes along these lines:

  1. The MYOB Data File needs confirming
  2. At confirmation the data file locks becoming read only
  3. The customer calls MYOB for assistance & MYOB advise that version is no longer supported and the only way to be supported is to upgrade to the Cloud version and sign up for a monthly or annual fee.
